I love the contrasts that designing and making for theatre affords: the sense of camaraderie created when working with a production team compared to the intimate focus of the designer/director collaboration. I thrive in the production process, from producing delicate scale models to painting their full-scale counterparts, and the challenging practicalities of how to rig a set, down to the finishing touches.

Theatre encompasses many things and it's that incredible scope of possibility, in both designing and making culminating in a live performance that thrills me and draws me in. Theatre is storytelling and I love stories.
